Together with the Center for Polish-Russian Dialogue and Understanding and the “Flying Critic” portal, we organized the project “Polish-Russian online poetry tutoring”. The pandemic and the closure of cultural institutions associated with it, caused great Polish and Russian actors to remind us all of the modern classics of the nations that gave birth to great poets. Poets who shaped people and their era. We are pleased to present our work.

Poetry read by artists
The project was created during the pandemic, when the closure of cultural institutions limited direct contact between audiences and artists. The internet became a stage where Polish and Russian actors could meet.
Thirteen Polish–Russian encounters between actors, devoted to poetry and shared cultural memory.
Each video brings together two artists and two languages. Their readings show how poetry can create dialogue across geographical distance and different experiences.
